Where do you ship?

We ship our products to North America and do some international shipping. We do not ship to PO Boxes and you must have a physical address for us to send your order.

Once I've purchased my order, how long will it take to receive it?

Essentials by Nature orders are processed and shipped out within 7-10 business days. Orders are shipped during business days only, Monday-Friday. Orders will not be shipped on the weekend or statutory holidays.

The time frame for international orders can vary depending on customs, but it usually takes between 10-28+ business days to arrive. Often international orders get held up at customs for a few days and this may lengthen the delivery time. We encourage you to choose tracked shipping when ordering internationally.

Can I change or cancel my order once I have put it through?

We do not change or cancel orders once they have been processed. If you have a question or concern about your order, please send us an email with your order number, reason for the change/cancellation and we can look into it for you if it's been less than 24 hours.

There will be NO refunds for shipping given if you missed using a promotional code.

What should I do if my order arrives and the products are damaged?

Essentials by Nature reserves the right to deny the replacement of damaged products based on the product.  We will only credit/replace the damaged item(s) but not the entire order. 

To begin the process, please email us at within 7 days of the order being received and include your order number, which products were damaged, and photos of the damaged product.

What if my order doesn't arrive?

When your order is ready for shipment, you will receive an email with the tracking number for your order. Please note that we have no control over transit times. During shipment, we can only see your tracking number page. Essentials by Nature is not liable for packages that are delayed or lost during the shipping process. You will have to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Due to the nature of our products, all sales through our website are final.

I purchased a product from one of your retailers and I want to return it or it arrived damaged, will you send me a replacement?

Essentials by Nature is not responsible for any products purchased through one of our retailers.. If you have a concern with  your order, please contact the shop that you purchased it from directly.

Ordering with us:

I'm sending a gift and do not want prices included in my order. Can you accommodate this?

We do not include a receipt with a dollar value on any orders and only a packing slip is included. If you would like us to include a personalized note in your order/gift, please send us an email to with your order number and what you would like the note to say.

The product I would like to order is out of stock, how can I order it?

If the product you are looking for is unavailable, please send an email to and we can let you know when it will be available again and put you on a list to be contacted as soon as it's online.

Do you offer free samples?

We do not offer sample sizes but many of our products are available in mini's.

In-Person Shopping

Can I pick up my order locally?

We are no longer offering local pick up. If you would like to shop Essentials by Nature products in person, please visit one of our retail partners.

Where can I purchase your products in person?

We sell our products at many retail locations across Canada and the US. Please have a look at the link on our page to find the retailer closest to you.

Is there somewhere I can get a refill on my EBN products?

We work with many refilleries that carry our products in bulk. Head to our shop in person tab to find the location closest to you.

Product Information

Where do you make all your products?

Essentials by Nature products are made from scratch at our production site in Edmonton.  Our company sources a lot of materials locally, and collaborates with a number of suppliers in the area.  Our packaging is deliberately simple to minimize waste.

All products we sell are made in a safe and hygienic environment. We follow Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidelines when manufacturing all products.

What is the shelf-life of your products?

Some of our products have a longer shelf life than others depending on the ingredients and if they are oil based. As our products are made with natural ingredients, we suggest a shelf-life of 6-12 months.

Our products are natural and only contain some natural preservatives. To keep your products the freshest, please keep them away from direct heat and light sources. Always make sure to keep the lids tightly sealed. 

Try to ensure when using our products that water does not get into the containers and that your hands are clean when using the products.

Are your products certified organic?

Essentials by Nature uses many organic ingredients in products that are all cruelty, paraben, and toxin-free. All of our products have been extensively tested on our human friends.

Are your products Vegan?

Our products are made with plant-based ingredients, but they are not certified as vegan.

Are your products cruelty free?

Yes, our products are certified by Leaping Bunny as cruelty free.

Where do you source your ingredients and materials?

Essentials by Nature orders all of our supplies and natural ingredients from Canadian wholesale suppliers. We source products locally where possible.
