Where do you ship?
We ship our products globally.
Once I've purchased my order, how long will it take to receive it?
Essentials by Nature orders are processed and shipped out within 5-7 business days. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Orders are shipped during business days only, Monday-Friday.
All International Orders ship through Canada Post. The time frame can vary depending on customs, but it usually takes between 14-28+ business days to arrive. Often international orders get held up at customs for a few days and this may lengthen the delivery time.
Can I change or cancel my order once I have put it through?
We do not change or cancel orders once they have been processed. If you have a question or concern about your order, please send us an email with your order number, reason for the change/cancellation and we can look into it for you. There will be NO refunds for shipping given if you missed using a promotional code.
What should I do if my order arrives and the products are damaged?
Essentials by Nature reserves the right to deny the replacement of damaged products based on the product. We will only credit/replace the damaged item(s) but not the entire order. Canada Post does not insure any glass packaging for us. If you choose glass as an option, we will not be help responsible for replacing any damaged products that may be broken on transport.
To begin the process, please email us at email@example.com within 7 days of the order being received and include your order number, which products were damaged, and photos of the damaged product.
What if my order doesn't arrive?
When your order is ready for shipment, you will receive an email with the tracking number for your order. Please note that we have no control over transit times. During shipment, we can only see your tracking number page. Essentials by Nature is not liable for packages that are delayed or lost during the shipping process. You will have to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
What is your return/exchange policy?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales through our website are final.
I purchased a product from one of your retailers and I want to return it or it arrived damaged, will you send me a replacement?
Essentials by Nature is not responsible for any products purchased through one of our retailers/stockist. If you have a concern with your order, please contact the shop that you purchased it from directly.
I'm sending a gift and do not want prices included in my order. Can you accommodate this?
We do not include a receipt with a dollar value on any orders and only a packing slip is included. If you would like us to include a personalized note in your order/gift, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and what you would like the note to say.
I sent an email to you and did not receive a response?
Due to the large amount of emails we receive, if the answer to your question can be found on our website under our FAQ's, you may not get a response from us.
Local Pick-Up and Locations
Can I pick up my order locally?
We offer local pick up Tuesday to Thursday from 10am-3pm at our production site located at 4246 91 A Street, Edmonton.
How does local pick up work?
As soon as your order is ready, we will contact you. We will let you know when it is available to be picked up at our production site. You can then pick up your items at that time, without needing to set an appointment. Please wait in your car and give us a call. A staff member will bring your order out to you.
Remember to bring your order number and confirmation email when picking up.
If you don’t pick up your purchase within 60 days, it will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund, exchange, or store credit. If you can’t pick up your order in time, please contact us and we’ll arrange to ship your order to you and send you an invoice for the cost of shipping.Can I come visit the space and do some in-person shopping?
We are not allowing any in-person shopping.
Product InformationWhere do you make all your products?
Essentials by Nature products are made from scratch at our production site in Edmonton. Our company sources a lot of materials locally, and collaborates with a number of suppliers in the area. Our packaging is deliberately simple to minimize waste.
All products we sell are made in a safe and hygienic environment. We follow Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidelines when manufacturing all products.What is the shelf-life of your products?
Some of our products have a longer shelf life than others depending on the ingredients and if they are oil based. As our products are made with natural ingredients, we suggest a shelf-life of 12 months. We also recommend keeping your products away from direct sunlight and heat sources.Are essential oils safe to use?
All Essentials by Nature products are intended to be used externally and must never be applied to the body without first diluting the oil. We’d also like to remind you that people with allergies and conditions like sensitive skin should always perform a patch test before using.
When used correctly, essential oils are safe to use. For external use only, be sure to dilute. Consult your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.
Using citrus oils on your skin may increase your sensitivity to sunlight. Before or during sun exposure, avoid citrus oils. Rosemary oil should be avoided in hypertension and epilepsy. Clove and Wintergreen oils should be avoided if taking blood thinner If you have respiratory illnesses such as asthma, COPD, and allergies, be cautious when using peppermint, eucalyptus, and rosemary oil.Are your products certified organic?
Essentials by Nature uses many organic ingredients in products that are all cruelty, paraben, and toxin-free. All of our products have been extensively tested on our human friends.Are your products Vegan?
Our products are made with plant-based ingredients, but they are not certified as vegan.Can I use Essentials by Nature products on my children?
Always dilute your essential oils before using them with children. Just like with any other product, make sure you read and follow the instructions on the label.I'm pregnant, can I use essential oils?
If you're pregnant or nursing, we suggest that you seek your doctor's advice before using essential oils.Can I use essential oil products with my pets?
Some essential oils are not safe for your pets. Use essential oils with caution and speak with your veterinarian before use.
Where do you source your ingredients and materials?
Essentials by Nature orders all of our supplies and natural ingredients from Canadian wholesale suppliers. We source products locally where possible.
